4th of July in Santa Barbara

Posted on  June 7, 2017

O say can you see, by the dawn’s early light—fireworks! While that’s not how Francis Scott Key originally penned “The Star-Spangled Banner”, fireworks are definitely a staple of Independence Day festivities. What could be better than enjoying the bursts of red, white & blue over a darkened sky on a beautiful summer night? How about on a boat or on the beach!

Smooth Sailing

Nothing says summer quite like spending an afternoon or evening on the water. Join the friendly staff at Condor Express for their annual Fireworks Cruise. This three-hour trip around the Santa Barbara Channel is the best seat in the house to view the spectacular fireworks display. Leaving from the Sea Landing dock in Santa Barbara Harbor, the cruise includes light appetizers and a cash bar. Make sure you get there early! Many streets around the Harbor close as early as 5pm. You won’t want to miss this night of fun!

Tickets for the cruise run $60 for adults and $40 for children twelve and under. Condor Express recommends arriving at the dock around half an hour early, and don’t be late! The boat leaves at 7pm sharp and you don’t want to be left behind. Make sure you book soon; this popular cruise fills up fast! You can purchase tickets online here or call 1-888-779-4253.
