On the first Friday of every month, everyone at Broughton Hotels home office participates in our very own PB&J First Fridays event. During the event, we team up, make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and donate all food items to Share Ourselves (SOS), a nonprofit organization providing the highest quality comprehensive safety net services to the homeless and low-income populations of Orange County, California.
Previous partners and vendors have included TravelClick, Ralph’s, Gilchrist & Soames, Sceptre Hospitality, Axis Purchasing and Standard Textile, and our latest vendor, GCommerce, helped deliver 150 meals to SOS.
Broughton COO, Jim Sichta, expressed his gratitude to all who become involved with PB&J First Fridays. “The peanut butter and jelly challenge continues to grow each month, and with the continued support of our valued vendor partners/sponsors, we will be able to continue supporting many more of those that desperately need help in our community.
