Cambria Farmers Market

Posted on  February 10, 2013

Get fresh, local produce year-round every Friday afternoon.

Typically when we grocery shop, we run in and out of the store to get what we need for the week and experience very little interaction with the people around us. Well, what if we told you your grocery shopping experience can be more…interactive? Skip the grocery store this week, and shop for your produce outdoors! Learn about your fresh, local produce from the friendly (and knowledgeable) growers and vendors at the Cambria Farmers Market.

A year-round open air market, the Cambria Farmers Market features fruits, vegetables and flowers grown on farms and orchards throughout Central California. But that’s not all—you can also find fresh baked goods, pies, BBQ and many other gourmet items to add to your culinary fun! Cambria’s market aims to provide the highest quality seasonal produce and prepared foods to its community and visitors. But don’t expect to find trinkets or crafts here—those at the Cambria Farmers Market say that their market is “food only.”

Beyond their core group of local vendors, the Cambria Farmer’s Market has a large seasonal offering. Mark and Carol Broadhurst, the market managers, update their website regularly and particularly the “current offerings” tab monthly. Check it out at
