Posted on  December 27, 2013

Cambria’s Annual Art and Wine Festival is coming around again on January 24. The event starts Friday morning and ends Sunday evening and offers food, wine, live entertainment, gallery showings, shopping specials and more.

Local artists will be performing live demonstrations and auctioning off their works throughout the village. Over 40  wineries will be participating in the wine tasting event, which will ensure a diverse variety of styles to suite any palate.

This is the 12th year for the festival, which benefits the Cambria Center for the Arts. The event allows visitors a chance to visit local businesses and experience what each has to offer. Visitors are also able to participate in raffle drawings at the various locations.

Some of the highlights of this event include:

Friday night’s preview of the Art Show and Silent Auction along with special raffle prize packages.

Saturday morning’s kick-off with the Art Show and Silent Auction located at Veterans’ Hall, which will include works from local artists.

Saturday evening’s class on the “art of winemaking” at Harmony Cellars offers wine tasting from the newest wines straight from the barrel and extravagant foods during the class. There will also be a 4-course dinner and wine pairing with local winemakers, which is sure to be an exciting and enlightening event for wine enthusiasts.

Sunday afternoon will feature the Winemaker’s Brunch and Vertical Tasting of Syrah at Bassetti Vineyards, which offers a wine tasting and souvenir bottle of Bassetti Family Ranch Estate Olive Oil.
