Holiday Happenings in Calistoga

The holidays are upon us and Calistoga will be hosting many different events to celebrate the season ranging from a tractor parade (you heard us right) to arts and crafts. Mark December 7th on your calendar for all of the best holiday festivities Calistoga has to offer!


Santa‚Äôs Workshop, a great event for kids, ¬†will run from 9am-4pm at the Napa County Fairground‚Äôs Tubbs Building. Children 2 to 12 are invited to take part in activities ranging from making ornaments, assembling gingerbread houses and decorating Christmas gifts. Family portraits will be available as well, perfect for next year’s holiday card. This is sure to be a fun and creative event for kids of all ages!


If arts and crafts are your thing you may want to hit up Calistoga’s 44th Annual Community Christmas Bazaar which will offer local arts, crafts, baked goods, ornaments and one of a kind gifts for that special someone. This family friendly event will take place from 9am-4pm and is also located in the Fairgrounds Tubbs Building. This varied events is sure to have something for everyone.


After a long day of crafts and holiday cheer you may want to end your day by attending the 18th Annual Calistoga Lighted Tractor Parade from 7pm ‚Äď 8pm. This event helps celebrate Calistoga‚Äôs agricultural history while at the same time spreading holiday cheer. The parade will include a wide range of farm machines such as vintage and modern tractors, antique trucks and construction equipment decorated with lights that can be seen down Lincoln Avenue. Agricultural machinery isn’t the only highlight of the parade however. The route will also feature Carolers as well as an appearance from Santa Claus.
