ICE at Santa Monica

Enjoy a little winter at Southern California’s most popular skating rink!

 

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) it doesn’t get cold enough in Southern California for the ocean to freeze into a sheet of ice—for ice skaters’ sake, of course—but this is indeed the next best thing.

 

Every year, Downtown Santa Monica brings a chill to the beachside community and transforms the corner of 5th Street and Arizona Avenue into ICE at Santa Monica, a premier 8,000 square foot outdoor ice skating rink.

 

We agree with the Downtown Santa Monica website—ICE at Santa Monica is a fantastic location to celebrate the holidays! Hang out with friends and family, throw a party in a private event cabana, enjoy a first date or just sign up for skate lessons! Mostly importantly, enjoy a little taste of winter without the bite!

ICE at Santa Monica opened on November 3, 2012 and will run until January 21, 2012. The rink is open daily, including holidays, with extended hours of operation during holiday breaks.

 

Monday-Thursday: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Friday: 2:00 pm – Midnight
Saturday: 10:00 am – Midnight
Sunday: 10:00 am – 10:00 pm

Monday, December 17th through Monday, January 7th
