Napa Valley’s Arts in April!

If you’re the kind of person who enjoys wine with a side of culture, Napa Valley’s Arts in April® is perfect for you!


Arts in April® is a month long celebration that combines the exclusive wines of Napa Valley, with the works of talented local artists.


Here’s an abbreviated list of attractions worth looking into, but you can also access the full list of events online, along with a map of the area.


Art at the Edges of Sight

Artwork from Grammy Award winner Mickey Hart will be displayed in this fascinating exhibit. It’s especially easy to see the role that music had in Hart’s life in a portion of the exhibit which he has titled “Drum Ki” which combines drumstick movement and time lapse photography.

Fine Wines and the Art of Janet Ekholm

Cornerstone Cellars in Yountville will be releasing a new series of artist wine labels featuring the artwork of Janet Ekholm. Ekholm, a painter who has been featured on Oregon public television, will be at the event presenting some of her original works.

Tastemakers: The Art of Rock ‘n’ Roll

The theme of interconnecting music with the visual arts continues with this showcase. Two of Neil Young’s album art designers Jenice Heo and Gary Burden, will be revealing a series of paintings based around the life of the music legend.

Art & Wine Pairing Soiree, and Silent Auction

You probably know the importance of wine pairings when it comes to food, but have you ever thought about pairing wine with art? Beaulieu Vineyard will pair paintings by Artist Penelope Moore with some of their wines. Throughout the night guests will bid on the combinations while enjoying live music and hors d’oeuvres.

Indian Springs Art Gallery

Let a classical guitarist serenade you while you ponder the beauty of a variety of sculptures at Indian Springs Art Gallery. On April 26th the Gallery will be hosting Gregory Leupp,a world renowned classical guitarist, from 2-4pm, and of course Tedeschi Family Winery will be supplying great wine.

Napa Crossroads release party

Crossroads is a collaborative album between Grammy award winning musician David Pack and five Napa Valley wineries. On Monday April 28th, City Winery will host the official release party for the album, which will include a three-course dinner, wine reception, and musical performance by David Pack and the Silverado Pickups.
