Taste of the Town Santa Barbara 2013

Posted on  September 6, 2013

Taste of the Town Santa Barbara is the perfect way to experience the best food and drink Santa Barbara has to offer. Taste of the Town is a culinary event that will showcase over 80 restaurants and wineries. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy your favorite Santa Barbara foods, discover new favorites or simply enjoy the live entertainment and socializing that accompanies the event.

Perhaps the best feature of Taste of the Town is that the proceeds go toward a good cause. The event will benefit the Arthritis Foundation, the largest non-profit organization that specializes in the disease. Their goal is to reduce the number of people affected  by 20% by 2030.

Unfortunately, for many people, Arthritis is easily overlooked as a major disease but over 50 million people in the U.S. including 300,000 children are affected by it. This year, Francesca Todarello, is the event’s youth honoree. Francesca is a 17 year old who was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 12.

2013 marks the 32nd year of the event and over 1000 guests are expected, so get your tickets while you can!

A full list of wineries and breweries is available on the Taste of the Town website.
