Last Thursday under the Hollywood stars, a celebratory crowd of over 300 guests gathered to toast Sunset Blvd’s latest lodging, The Moment Hotel. Located on the iconic boulevard’s famed Guitar Row, the sleek building is poised to attract design savvy travelers seeking a buzz-worthy boutique experience.
Guests arrived in waves to tour three of the hotel’s 39 colorfully eclectic rooms, each space owning an accent of vivid green, warm orange, or purple. The final stop included the hotel’s suite – the balcony of which offered guests views of the Hollywood Hills, Sunset Blvd., and the party below. As the sun set, the crowd gathered in front of the glass-fronted lobby as property owner Sanjay Patel, broughtonHOTELS CEO Larry Broughton, and members of the Hollywood Chamber cut the ribbon, officially inducting The Moment Hotel into the community.
The party took over after the ceremony with guests frequenting gourmet food trucks, posing for photo ops, and visiting the three bars for wine and craft beer on tap. Many jaunted up to The Roofdeck, lounging in couches and plush white chairs, taking in The Moment from above as the DJ set the scene with Hollywood sound. Designed with sloped and slanted walls, the hotel presents a feeling of movement and motion, and on this night, its guests followed suit with ease.
