Willie Nelson is on the road again and he’s making a stop in Los Angeles. Come see this country music legend at the Wiltern on April 2nd.
80-year-old Willie Nelson, a country music singer and songwriter has been active in music since 1956. He is known for such classics as “Always on My Mind,” “On the Road Again” as well as “Hello Walls.” Willie Nelson is not only a successful artist but also highly prolific, releasing 68 studio albums and 10 live albums over his career.
Willie Nelson has risen to iconic status in country music and his legacy includes plenty of accolades. He was inducted in to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1993, received a Kennedy Center Honor in 1998 and is even a member of the National Agricultural Hall of Fame for his role in supporting U.S. farming.
Besides having a great artist, the April 2nd show features an excellent venue. The historic Wiltern Theater, built in 1931 is on the U.S. National Register of Historic places and features an Art Deco design style. It’s located on Wilshire Boulevard near the Korea-town neighborhood of Los Angeles.
