Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art is hosting their fourth family day on Saturday, March 5th. Bonjour de France! A French Family Day is located right on the campus of Westmont College in the art museum located in Santa Barbara. Admission to French Family Day is free and open to all ages: doors open at 10am and close at 4pm. The day will be full of fun activities, crafts, food, music, and performances celebrating the French culture.
The Westmont-Ridley Tree Museum of Art is showcasing work by some of the most recognized names in the annals of art history until March 19th. “Barbizon, Realism, and Impressionism in France” features more than two-dozen works from Lady Leslie Ridley-Tree’s private collection. This exhibition includes masterpieces by prominent artists associated with Barbizon, realism, and impressionism schools, including Eugène Boudin, Gustave Caillebotte, Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, and many more! After French Family Day, be sure to take a look around the rest of the museum to see works from some of the world’s favorite French artists.
The Westmont-Ridley Tree Museum of Art is open Monday through Friday from 10am-4pm, and 11am-5pm on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays and on college holidays. For more information on the museum and upcoming events, follow them on Facebook.
