Los Angeles Boat Show 2015
The 56th Annual Los Angeles Boat Show, presented by Progressive Insurance, will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from February 19th – 22nd. The Los Angeles Boat Show is a premier international exhibition of the latest in boating and marine lifestyle technology. Everything from sporting gear, fishing boats, yachts; sailboats, pontoon boats and a whole lot more will be on display at this year’s show.
The event actually takes place at two locations. The Los Angeles Convention Center, will be showcasing new boats, gear and accessories while Burton W. Chance Park in Marina Del Rey, will be used to feature used boats 35 feet and longer. Shuttle transportation between the two sites will be available for free throughout the show.
Who will be exhibiting?
Over 80 exhibitors including yacht retailers, marine technology sellers and boat insurance providers will be at the show. A complete list of exhibitors with their locations and contact information is available on the L.A. Boat Show Website.
Besides the many product and service exhibitions on display, the show also includes a few opportunities for hands-on learning experiences. The “Discover Boating training program” and “Fred Shed Learning center” will be offering free workshops and seminars for attendees to learn new boating skills or master old techniques with guidance from from skilled experts.

Classes will take place during the show on Friday Saturday and Sunday at 10am and 2pm at Marina del Rey and will teach participants the fundamentals of sailing as well as essential cruising & chartering skills. Interested participant must sign up ahead of time to ensure a spot.
“Fred’s Shed” Interactive Learning Center
“Fred,” a certified marine service technician will be giving free seminars and workshops at various times throughout the show. The sessions will cover everything from how to deal with scratches, eradicated dirt and mildew all the way to diagnosing electrical problems and how to change a water pump. Registration is not required for these workshops, but be sure to check the online schedule to see what time your desired lesson is available.
