Downtown Santa Cruz Antique Street Faire 

The Downtown Santa Cruz Antique Street Faire is on the second Sunday of each month and offers a very diverse blend of antiques and unique items. The fair is year-round, weather permitting of course, and with its wide-ranging items, can be very surprising what turns up! Located on Lincoln Street (between Pacific and Cedar) the Faire starts at 9:00 a.m. and goes until 5:00 p.m. For more information on sellers and selling, feel free to call (831) 476-6940. Santa Cruz Lighted Boat Parade 

Want a good way to kick off the holiday season? Head on down to the 32 Annual Lighted Boat Parade. The Lighted Boat Parade features 50 decorated boats floating down the Santa Cruz Harbor. Bring the kids up to all ages and enjoy hot drinks and snacks located in various locations throughout the south harbor. Bad weather? No worries, this will take place rain or shine. The parade is on December 1ststarting at 5:30 pm on 5thAvenue. You especially don’t want to miss this year’s “Holiday Magic” theme.

 

Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre: The Nutcracker

With the holiday season here go check out the Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre with their showing The Nutcracker with a Live Orchestra. Join the 17thproduction with a full professional orchestra at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium. The play will be taking place from December 21stto December 23rd. For different showtimes during those days click here. Ticket prices start at $20.50 and increase depending on your seat location. You don’t want to miss the 70 local dancers, or the 52-piece Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre Orchestra!
