Taste of Chicago 2014 is so much more than just a food festival. It’s a party, concert event, and all out celebration of everything great about the city of Chicago!

What is Taste of Chicago?

Taste of Chicago, like names implies is a food festival. This 5 day long celebration of cuisine includes the best dining options Chicago has to offer, the great atmosphere of Grant Park and world-class musical entertainment. The event lasts from Wednesday July 9th until Sunday July 13th .

Food Vendors

Obviously the food vendors themselves are the real meat of “Taste of Chicago” (pun intended). 3 types of vendors: five-day restaurants, pop-up restaurants and food trucks will be offering an extremely wide variety of food for guests to enjoy.

5-Day Restaurants

66 restaurants will be open for the duration of the festival providing a hugged diverse array of refreshments.

Pop-Up Restaurants

Pop up restaurants are vendors that will only be open for a limited time, a day or two.  So be sure to check out the Pop up  schedule to see what’s open when!

Food Trucks

What outdoor food festival would be complete without these portable vendors!

Food Prices

Food and Beverage tickets will be sold in strips of 12 tickets for $8.50 and restaurants will offer “Taste of” portions of items for $2.50 or less. Enabling you to sample a lot without getting too filled up!

Musical Performances at the Petrillo Music Shell

Yes, food is the most important part of The Taste, but that’s no reason to underestimate the surrounding entrainment options guests will have access to. A variety of big name artists covering a wide range of musical styles will take the Petrillo Music Shell all week long during the festival!
