Zoo-a-Palooza at the Santa Barbara Zoo

Did someone say Zoo-a-Palooza? That’s right! The Santa Barbara Zoo will host its first annual Zoo-a-Palooza on June 14 from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Who’s invited? Families with kids of all ages. Make sure to introduce the little ones to Chase and Skye from Paw Patrol and take lots of pictures. DJ Hecktik will be playing some wild beats throughout the event for the the kids to dance to. Great interactive learning opportunities include science experiments and a variety of crafts. The zoo also provides a quiet area with activities and sensory backpacks (includes noise-canceling headphones) for rent. With June marking the Zoo’s one-year anniversary of being a Certified Autism Center, this special area is great for kiddos who might need a quieter setting to have fun.
